As a mother of four, I love that I get the opportunity to partner with my husband Jeff, by leading Milestone Women while building a strong marriage and a loving home. What motivates me to lead every day is seeing women realize their value, discover their place in the body of Christ and connect with each other to walk out their faith in meaningful relationships. There’s nothing sweeter.
I remember when the Lord started tugging at my heart to strengthen and encourage women (I was 20 years old when I became a pastor’s wife!) Most of the women in our church were old enough to be my mother, grandmother or even great-grandmother! I was pretty hesitant at first…and I was definitely reluctant to teach, but my desire to see women in our community find spiritual family and be built up and transformed by the Word of God was so much stronger than my hesitation. As I’ve matured in ministry and grown in my love for His church and His people, I've learned that it's not that complicated. I lead through the lens of a mother. I want the house of God to have healthy sons and daughters.
Creating atmospheres that unify and empower women across all seasons of life to reach their full potential in Christ is what Milestone Women’s ministry is all about. It’s a joy to lead such a dynamic and generous group of ladies.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 says “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor; If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.”
AT THE CORE OF WHAT I DO, I TRULY BELIEVE THAT WOMEN ARE BETTER TOGETHER.
My vision for Milestone Women from the beginning was that we, as women, would understand that we’re better together. I believe we reach our destinies through the spiritual family God places us in. That’s why we’ve strived to establish a ministry environment that encourages women to embrace God’s design for femininity and strengthen each other in their love for Jesus and others.
Together, we’re dedicated to reaching women and building lives through the local church. We have a place for you. I understand that our lives can be busy and coming into a new environment can be intimidating. Our big questions are...
"What if I don't know anyone?"
"What if I have to go alone?"
"Is there a place here for me?"
We've designed our women's environments with those questions in mind. Our heart is to create a warm, inviting place where you can connect and belong. My greatest encouragement to you is to get started and jump in.
