What if my student is not able to attend the whole weekend?

Even if your student is not able to attend all of the camp, we would still love to have them be a part of it as much as possible. If a student is arriving late to camp, or leaving early from camp, we would simply need a Time Away Form filled out to be able to coordinate drop off and pick up. Please email elevate@milestonechurch.com to fill out this form.

What if my student has dietary restrictions?

The camp does offer gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and vegan options that students can eat if they have dietary restrictions. On the registration, there is a place to let us know what restrictions your student has (if any).

What if my student has prescription medications?

We have medical professionals with us at camp that will keep your student’s medication with them in the camp’s secure health center and ensure that they are taking their medications at the time detailed in their registration.

What are tribes?

For our camps and retreats, we assign each small group a specific team that they will participate in competitive games and activities with. We call these teams “tribes.” Tribes have a specific color and mascot (i.e. the Blue Hurricanes, etc.), and we encourage students and leaders to wear their tribe’s color throughout the week.

How do I know what tribe my student is on?

Tribes will be announced on our Instagram (@OurElevate) and through email on the week of camp.

Where can I find pictures from camp?

We post pictures throughout the week on our Instagram (@OurElevate) as well as to a Google photo album that we will send the link for as soon as it is available.

If I need to contact my student while they are at camp, what should I do?

One unique thing that we do at all of our camps and retreats is take up student’s phones before we leave . We want each student to have a distraction-free week of engaging with worship, messages, and small groups. If you need to contact your student while they do not have their phone, our team can be reached anytime at 682-593-3276.

What safety precautions will be taken?

Safety is a top priority for all of our camps and retreats. Each student is placed in a group with 10-12 other students and two leaders. These leaders are responsible for staying with the students throughout the week.

We will also have a medical team and a security team on site with us who will work around the clock to keep each student safe and healthy while we are at camp.

Every leader and volunteer that serves with us is thoroughly background checked, vetted, and trained by our team.
