Thank you for entrusting your student with us!

Important Note: The Elevate team is aware that some students and small group leaders may organize an overnight stay at a home during Fall Retreat weekend.  However, the Elevate team is not sponsoring or organizing any host home stays during Fall Retreat weekend.  Students, parents, and leaders who choose to do this do so at their own discretion.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are you enforcing safety protocols at Fall Retreat?

We are following all of the outlined guidelines for churches from the latest guidance from the State Governor’s office as well as the recommendations for houses of worship from the CDC.

Are you requiring people to wear masks at Fall Retreat?

We are asking all students, volunteers, and staff to wear masks to Fall Retreat. Once students, volunteers, and staff get to their seats in the worship center, they can remove their masks for the duration of service. Masks will be taken off during lunch and dinner times and students, leaders, and staff will be required to put masks back on afterwards. Masks will remain on during small group and ministry times. At dismissal, we will ask everyone to put their masks on again before leaving service. Students, leaders, and staff will be required to wear masks at Main Event and during the bus ride back to Milestone Keller. For your convenience, we will have masks available for those who may not have brought one with them.

Are students going to be physically distanced at Fall Retreat? How are you going to enforce that?

In the worship center, groups will have 2 seats between them and every other row will be blocked off. We encourage students, leaders and staff to practice physical distancing, and when not able to, a mask will be worn.

Will Fall Retreat volunteers and staff be pre-screened for COVID-19?

All staff and volunteers will be pre-screened with a health and wellness questionnaire prior to serving each day at Fall Retreat. All staff and volunteers will also be wearing masks at Fall Retreat.

What extra measures are you taking to provide a sanitary environment at Fall Retreat?

The worship center and commons area is being completely sanitized before and after each service using an Electrostatic Sprayer and disinfectant wipes. There will also be hand sanitizer stations upon entry to the building and the worship center. You can find Main Event’s protocols HERE.

What if I'm not ready to attend Fall Reatreat in person?

We will still be live-streaming our Fall Retreat services on Friday and Saturday on our YouTube Channel.

Will there be host homes?

No, there will not be host homes this year at Fall Retreat. The Elevate team is aware that some students and small group leaders may organize an overnight stay at a home during Fall Retreat weekend. However, the Elevate team is not sponsoring or organizing any host home stays during Fall Retreat weekend. Students, parents, and leaders who choose to do this do so at their own discretion.
